Our September

Back to life. . .back to reality. We kept our life simple in September as we settle into a new school year. Here are some of the hight lights of visitors and family moments from this month.

Cousin Mitchell Vaclaw and Emarie play dress up. Lorne and Heather stayed with us on their way to see Thomas the Tank Engine in OKC. It was fun to visit. . .we sure miss them living here!
9-28-07

Cousin Rylee Vaclaw joins in the fun!
9-28-07

Yet another Daddy's Girl! Can't say I blame her!
9-27-07

Isaac's enthusiasm over loosing his tooth is staggering! I bet you can't tell where the gap is . . . that is because the other tooth was already grown in by the time he let Sam pull the smaller tooth out!
9-27-07
Emarie doing what she does best. . .being a GIRL! She would wear the color pink, skirts, and make-up every day if I would let her.
9-26-07

Isaac is such a great help. He loves his baby sister. The feeling is mutual, for now!
9-23-07

Emarie enjoyed a night out with Grandma Sylvia and Grandpa Mike at the Oklahoma State Fair. They went to see Disney Princesses on Ice. They had a great time, but halfway through Emarie wanted to leave because, "My family misses me." Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for a great night!
9-17-07

Olivia loves her swing, at least for 15 minutes or so. She is growing up so fast and is getting more social every day.
9-17-07

Our biggest investment-time, money, patience-for the summer. Well worth it. The kids love playing in the back yard!
9-17-07

Vance, Aunt Crystal, and Grandma Carla stopped over for the night on their way to Arizona. The kids love their cousin!
9-12-07
Just another Friday Family Fun Night. . .Star Wars style! There will be no surprise then when you see what Isaac choses to be for Halloween.
9-7-07

Queen Amidala and her best buddy, Darth Vader. Yes, even R2-D2 mommy was there.

Our August

FAMILY - that pretty much sums up our August. We had all of our family visit. Inspired by a cake shaped like a horse's rear-end (see picture 7 below - Why you ask? Well if you knew our dad and his silly girls you would understand), Alethia and I thought it would be fun to organize a 50th Birthday Bash (okay it was a month early-the real deal is in September) for our Dad, Ray. It meant getting our family to travel from all over to gather in Oklahoma for a surprise party that no one will soon forget. We had a great visit. I suggest that our next meeting be somewhere exotic, preferably not in the Mid-West!

The birthday boy/dad/grandpa, his main squeeze, and their biggest, I mean, youngest baby, RJ. RJ and Ashley get the award for longest distance traveled. . .from Germany! Oh, can't forget Kelsie on Grandpa's lap. Mom and Dad traveled from Kentucky. Yes, Kentucky. Who said it best. . ."Doesn't anyone stay in one place anymore?"
8-17-07
The whole gang is here. . .except Sam-the-camera-man, and Curtis (school absentee).
8-17-07

Breann came from Arizona and squeezed in as much "auntie" time as possible.
8-17-07
Alethia and Joe, and their kids Darron & Alyse (who are mysteriously absent from this picture) are here with us in Oklahoma. Lucky us!
8-17-07

Crystal and Vance came from Iowa. They were able to stay a whole week and we loved every minute of it! Curtis had to stay back at PA school. Sure missed ya!
8-17-07

Holly and Hans came from Arizona by way of Texas. We were so glad they could make it, especially so we could meet the "Kelster".
8-17-07

Isaac shows of THE Birthday Cake! In case you can't read the fine print, it says, "Turning 50 is a real pain in the. . .Well you get the picture!" Dad loved it!
8-17-07

Isaac LOVED playing Legos with Uncle RJ. After all, they are RJ's Legos from his childhood! RJ and Ashley extended their visit from Germany and stayed with us an extra week.
8-19-07

Grandma and her newest girls, Olivia and Kelsie. This was the first time we got to see Kelsie (Holly & Hans' baby). She has the cutest cheeks. You can't keep from smiling when you look at her!
8-15-07

We visited the OKC Zoo with cousins - Darron & Alyse (left), Isaac & Emarie (center), cousin - Vance (right), and Olivia (far right). It was sooooo hot! We made it a short visit, but still had fun!
8-15-07

Olivia was such a good sport. . .despite the HOT weather.

Our July

Despite having a new baby, we still tried to get out and enjoy the summer. After a record-breaking rainy June, we were ready to get out-and-about. Here are some things we did in July.
Nothing says, "Happy Birthday," like 3 lbs. of bacon! A real man's gift for Sam's Birthday from his mom and dad. If you want to know how old he is, you will have to ask him. You know how sensitive middle-aged men are about their age. J/K Sam!!! 7-29-07

Jasmine Moran Museum - Seminole, OK. We took a day trip to this hands-on kids museum. Isaac and Emarie loved it! They got to ride a train, climb through a pirate ship, grocery shop in a kid-sized store, color, draw, you name it! Here Isaac is cycling as fast as he can to make the skeleton move. 7-21-07

Our dancing queen. She gets her daily exercise by dancing. . .but requires her ballerina costume, a dance partner, and some classical music. 7-19-07

We were beginning to wonder if Olivia had any other expression besides her "crusty face." She came into the world with a look of serious concentration, until. . . 7-7-07

HOORAY!!! She smiles! 7-15-07

Sam and Isaac spent the 4th of July in Bartlesville, OK with the Vaclaws. They had fun swimming and helping with the big Vaclaw Fireworks Show. 7-4-07

Isaac enjoyed spending time with all of his cousins. . .especially his cousin Jack. 7-4-07

MacVacs and their fireworks. . .dangerous combination. 7-4-07

Proud big brother and big sister on Olivia's Blessing Day. 7-1-07

Family after Olivia's Blessing
Mom and Dad Bryant were able to visit for over a week! We enjoyed every moment. . .especially all the grandkid time. Thanks Mom and Dad!!
